Certified Yoga Teacher
Hello, I’m Kim Meendering loves teaching Yoga! I believe that our bodies truly are wonderfully made: designed to move, work, play, and love. We are also designed to heal, when we’ve done a bit too much and become unbalanced. From the time I was young, I was actively fascinated with the body. Anatomy, physiology and exercise were my favorite subjects. I’ve been working in the health and wellness field for twenty years: as a yoga teacher, a group fitness instructor and personal trainer, and now as a massage therapist.
I’ve been teaching yoga since 1998. I’ve been blessed to have had some wonderful teachers.
My most extensive yoga training was in Santa Fe in 2013. I spent 6 weeks there, in a daily intensive teacher training with Prajna Yoga/Tias and Surya Little (world class teachers who have studied all over with some of the best). Have also studied with Doug Keller, Beryl Bender Birch and at Shoshoni Yoga ashram in Colorado.
I have 4 children (mostly grown), a wonderful husband, David, and an Australian shepherd. I enjoy bicycling with Dave, reading, dancing, languages, drumming, pickleball and... I’m learning to paint.
I’m looking forward to getting to know the yoga community at Coldwater Yoga!
